Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing insightful explanations.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models for various business scenarios and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across various systems.
- Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and understand key business drivers.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Contribute to process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in all financial matters.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely
- Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP systems
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Basic knowledge of VBA for Excel automation
