Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide clear explanations for significant deviations.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and clients.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret financial data from various sources to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close activities related to financial planning and analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the FP&A function.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with financial modelling and forecasting techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
