Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models and dashboards to support business performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and understand key business drivers.
  • Help identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries of financial results for senior management.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial systems and reports.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in a finance or analytical role, preferably within FP&A.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modeling).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting concepts, and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting financial data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified or actively pursuing a relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in a fully remote or hybrid work setting.
