Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models to facilitate planning and decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management review.
- Gather and interpret financial data from various sources to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and support their budgeting requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by senior leadership.
- Contribute to process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and corporate finance concepts.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Part-qualification (or actively studying towards) CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.
