Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Home-Based Process Coordinator to join our operational team in Leeds. This is a pivotal remote role that supports the continuous improvement and efficient functioning of our various business processes across ASDA. You will be instrumental in mapping, optimising, and documenting key workflows, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance throughout the organisation. Working autonomously from your home office, you will collaborate with diverse teams to identify bottlenecks, streamline operations, and implement best practices that enhance productivity and drive strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides for various departmental functions.
  • Identify, analyse, and propose solutions for process inefficiencies and bottlenecks, working collaboratively with stakeholders to implement improvements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate process review meetings with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and feedback to refine existing processes or develop new ones.
  • Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs), collect data, and generate reports to assess effectiveness and compliance.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to colleagues on new or updated processes, ensuring smooth adoption and adherence.
  • Ensure all documented processes comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and data governance standards.
  • Manage and prioritise multiple process improvement initiatives concurrently, delivering outcomes within agreed timescales and quality standards.
  • Act as a central point of contact for process-related queries, providing expert guidance and solutions to operational challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a process coordination, business analysis, or operational support role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to dissect complex issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in process mapping software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home-based environment.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or other relevant process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) or workflow automation platforms.
  • Prior experience working in a large-scale retail, supply chain, or fast-paced operational environment.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and techniques.
