Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Home-Based Product Implementation Officer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the successful deployment and configuration of our bespoke software products for a diverse range of clients across various sectors. As a Home-Based officer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our innovative product development and our clients’ operational needs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, configuring products to specification, conducting thorough testing, and providing comprehensive training and support during the rollout phase. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You will manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. While your primary base will be home, located conveniently in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, you will be an integral part of our wider UK team, contributing to our collective success and collaborating virtually with colleagues and clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of BJSS software products for new and existing clients.
  • Gather and analyse client business requirements, translating them into technical configuration specifications.
  • Configure, customise, and integrate product solutions to meet specific client needs.
  • Conduct thorough system testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure flawless operation.
  • Develop and deliver user training programs and documentation for client teams.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting, escalating complex issues to development teams as needed.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to project plans.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, sales, and support teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product implementation, technical consultancy, or a similar client-facing technical role.
  • Proven ability to configure and deploy software solutions, preferably SaaS or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and training material creation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and querying languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or IT service management (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Previous experience working for a technology consultancy or software vendor.
  • Understanding of data integration techniques and APIs.
