Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Administer medication as per care plans and company policy, maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensure adequate hydration.
  • Perform light household duties, ensuring a clean and tidy living environment.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a client's health, behaviour, or well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care setting (e.g., as a Carer, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant).
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, including elderly, disabled, or those with specific health conditions.
