Key Responsibilities
- Assist beneficiaries with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks crucial to maintaining a safe and healthy home environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure beneficiaries receive adequate hydration.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administration as per care plan.
- Offer companionship and engage beneficiaries in stimulating activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in beneficiaries' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and observations made.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with beneficiaries, their families, and the MSF team.

- Fluency in both Portuguese and a local language spoken in Inhambane Province (e.g., Gitonga, Chopi).
