Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with mobility and transfers, using assistive devices as needed.
- Perform light household tasks such as laundry, tidying living areas, and grocery shopping.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to client dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication reminders to ensure clients take their prescriptions as scheduled.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities or conversations.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health, behavior, or living conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or similar role.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with seniors and their families.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in Wheat Ridge, CO.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light household tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with clients managing dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
