Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of home support workers, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
- Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and performance reviews for care staff.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of new home support professionals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice guidelines.
- Manage staff rotas, schedules, and leave requests, optimising resource allocation.
- Address client and staff concerns promptly and effectively, resolving issues with professionalism.
- Conduct quality assurance visits and spot checks to maintain service excellence.
- Participate in on-call duties as per rota, providing out-of-hours support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the home care or social care sector.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in adult social care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using care management software and general office applications.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a flexible schedule effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with complex care needs and challenging behaviours.
- First Aid and Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of local Ealing community resources and services.
