This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable adults within their own homes, supporting them to maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life. As a Home Support Worker, you will be the backbone of our clients’ daily routines, providing essential practical and emotional support. Your work will involve assisting with personal care (such as washing, dressing, and grooming), medication prompting (not administering), meal preparation, light household tasks, and providing companionship. More importantly, you’ll be building meaningful relationships, offering a friendly face and a listening ear, and ensuring our clients feel safe, respected, and valued. Every day will bring new experiences, challenges, and the immense satisfaction of knowing you’ve positively impacted someone’s life. We work with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique needs and personalities, making every shift varied and engaging.

Career.zycto is deeply committed to your success and well-being. We provide comprehensive, fully paid training that covers everything you need to excel in this role, from personal care techniques and moving and handling to understanding complex needs and safeguarding protocols. You will be supported by an experienced management team and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, ensuring you grow both personally and professionally within the care sector. This isn’t just a job; it’s a foundation for a fulfilling career in care, offering a clear pathway for advancement within our organization to roles like Senior Support Worker or Care Coordinator. We understand the importance of flexibility and work-life balance, and we strive to create rotas that support our team members while meeting client needs. If you’re passionate about caring for others, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a vibrant community, this is your chance to start a career that truly matters. Join us in making a real difference in the lives of Edinburgh residents.
