Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planting, watering, fertilizing, weeding, and pruning of various plants, shrubs, and trees.
- Prepare garden beds and planters, including soil amendment and mulching.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and cultivators safely and efficiently.
- Monitor plant health, identify common pests and diseases, and apply appropriate treatments under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work sites, including debris removal.
- Assist with irrigation system setup, monitoring, and minor repairs.
- Support the installation of new landscape features and garden designs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and environmental best practices.
- Provide basic customer service and maintain professional conduct on client properties.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for horticulture, gardening, or landscaping.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
