Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, offices, corridors, and other designated areas within the hospital.
- Empty and clean waste receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials, including general and medical waste, according to established procedures.
- Dust, wipe, and polish surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of infections.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and solutions.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in various hospital areas.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazardous conditions to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
