Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, offices, corridors, and other hospital areas in accordance with established protocols.
- Clean and disinfect medical equipment, surfaces, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of infection.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas, adhering to proper waste segregation procedures (general, hazardous, clinical).
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; clean windows and mirrors.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in various facilities.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken equipment to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control guidelines and safety regulations.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
