Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, offices, corridors, and other hospital areas in accordance with established protocols.
  • Clean and disinfect medical equipment, surfaces, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas, adhering to proper waste segregation procedures (general, hazardous, clinical).
  • Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; clean windows and mirrors.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in various facilities.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken equipment to the supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to follow instructions and procedures carefully.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
  • Understanding of hygiene and sanitation principles.
