Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and proactive Hospitality Assistant to join our vibrant team for the night shift in the heart of New Town, Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities
- Perform late-night guest check-ins and early-morning check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Address all guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally during the night.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the premises, ensuring guest safety and property security.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby, public areas, and common spaces.
- Handle phone calls and correspondence, directing messages appropriately.
- Prepare breakfast areas and amenities for the morning shift.
- Process end-of-day reports and complete administrative tasks.
- Respond to emergencies or unusual occurrences with calm and effective action.
- Collaborate with the morning team to ensure a smooth handover of operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems (PMS experience is a plus).
- Reliability and punctuality for night shift schedules.
- A calm and professional demeanor, especially under pressure.
