Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms according to established standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Replenish guest room supplies (e.g., amenities, towels, linens) to ensure all items are adequately stocked.
  • Inspect rooms for any damage or maintenance issues and report them promptly to the supervisor.
  • Handle lost and found items according to company procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, hallways, and service closets.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests, responding to requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, including front desk and maintenance staff, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, push, and pull frequently for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally, with guests and team members.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage according to health and safety guidelines.
  • High level of reliability and punctuality, crucial for maintaining operational schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a hotel, guesthouse, or similar hospitality environment.
