Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and general upkeep of the hostel premises.
- Ensure all common areas, including lounges, kitchens, and bathrooms, are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Coordinate and supervise cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene are consistently met.
- Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets) or arrange for professional services when necessary.
- Manage resident check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations to ensure a harmonious living environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and resident feedback.
- Monitor security systems and ensure the safety and security of all residents and property.
- Report any major incidents or issues to management immediately.
