Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all hygiene and safety standards.
- Process guest orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, assisting with stock counts and replenishment.
- Adhere to all local and hotel-specific regulations regarding alcohol service and responsible beverage consumption.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the hotel's service standards.
- Ensure all glassware and bar tools are clean and properly maintained.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Bar Attendant, preferably in a hotel or upscale establishment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and guest relations abilities.
- Proficiency in basic math and handling cash/card transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items.
