As a Hotel Café Attendant, you will be an integral part of our client’s guest experience, responsible for ensuring every visitor to the hotel café enjoys a delightful and memorable experience. You will engage with guests, take orders accurately, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages (coffee, tea, juices, smoothies) and light food items (pastries, sandwiches) according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and card payments, and manage transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the café area, including equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
- Monitor and replenish inventory for beverages, food items, and supplies, reporting shortages to management.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the café.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems.
- A strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
