Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests, accurately take orders, and provide menu information and recommendations.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, beverages, and light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snacks.
- Operate cash registers, process payments accurately, and handle transactions efficiently.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards of the café area, including equipment, counters, and dining tables.
- Restock inventory, ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, and serving items are always available.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the café, including thorough cleaning tasks and preparing for the next shift.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor and manage waste, ensuring proper disposal and recycling practices are followed.
Required Skills
