Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for various events, banquets, and daily catering services.
- Set up and clear dining areas, banquet halls, and conference rooms efficiently and according to specifications.
- Ensure all catering equipment, utensils, and serving stations are clean, well-maintained, and properly stored.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests politely and promptly.
- Support the culinary team by performing basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, washing, and organizing ingredients.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards and regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and event management to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
