Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and other kitchen staff with daily food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
  • Execute basic cooking tasks such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking under supervision.
  • Maintain impeccably high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure all food items are stored correctly, rotated, and managed to minimize waste and comply with health regulations.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring safe and efficient usage at all times.
  • Support the plating and presentation of dishes, adhering to the hotel's exacting standards and recipes.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality of ingredients, and properly store them.
  • Collaborate effectively with the entire culinary team to maintain smooth workflow during peak service periods.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food handling regulations and standards.
