Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Ensure all washed items are properly dried, stored, and readily available for kitchen and serving staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in the dishwashing area and surrounding kitchen space.
- Regularly clean and maintain dishwashing equipment, including filters and drains.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and according to guidelines.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling materials in designated bins.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and carry heavy items (up to 25 kg).
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
