Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Manually wash oversized items, fragile items, and those not suitable for the dish machine.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the unloading and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring supplies are placed in designated areas.
- Support kitchen staff by removing waste, emptying bins, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Adhere strictly to all food hygiene and safety standards, including HACCP principles.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Ensure consistent availability of clean dishes and utensils for all food and beverage operations.
