Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute a wide range of daily recreational and entertainment activities for guests of all ages.
- Actively engage with guests, encouraging participation in activities and fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Lead various sports activities (e.g., beach volleyball, football, water polo), fitness classes, and outdoor games.
- Organize and host cultural experiences, workshops, and themed events relevant to Zanzibar.
- Supervise and entertain children in a safe and engaging manner, developing age-appropriate activities.
- Prepare and maintain activity areas, equipment, and materials, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards.
- Promote daily activity schedules and special events clearly and enthusiastically to guests.
- Gather guest feedback to continuously improve the quality and variety of entertainment offerings.
- Collaborate closely with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Assist with evening entertainment programs, shows, and special events as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to engage and interact enthusiastically with diverse groups of people.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Energetic, positive, and outgoing personality with a natural flair for entertainment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience (1+ year) in a hospitality, entertainment, or recreational role.
- Proficiency in additional languages such such as French, German, or Swahili.
- Certification in first aid or CPR.
- Experience in leading sports activities, dance, or theatrical performances.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management, or a related field.
