Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations using property management software.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments, maintain accurate billing records, and manage cash float.
- Assist with luggage handling and provide valet services when required.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing reports.
- Uphold high standards of guest service and hospitality at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in using reservation software and standard office applications (MS Office).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk role.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
