Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hotel Front Desk Receptionist to join a prestigious hospitality team in Ikpoba Hill, Benin City. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival and assist with their check-in process.
  • Efficiently handle guest check-outs, process payments, and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications promptly and accurately.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions in Benin City.
  • Act as a point of contact for guest requests and concerns, resolving issues professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized front desk and lobby area at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, security, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Operate hotel property management systems (PMS) and other relevant software.
  • Adhere strictly to hotel policies, security procedures, and safety regulations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to assist guests.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with specific PMS like Opera, Fidelio, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of local tourism, culture, and attractions in Edo State.
  • Ability to communicate in additional local languages (e.g., Edo, Yoruba).
