Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and check-in guests, processing registrations and assigning rooms efficiently.
  • Handle guest check-outs, accurately processing payments and providing necessary assistance.
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and making reservations.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy and problem-solving skills, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and special requests.
  • Process wake-up calls, mail, and other guest services as required.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Provide local area information and recommendations to guests.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • A friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, internet browsing).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role (retail, food service, call center, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS) is a plus, but not required.

  • Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field.
