Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and stationery.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport soiled linens and trash to designated areas.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs (e.g., leaky faucets, broken lights) and report them promptly to supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and assigned public areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including front desk staff and maintenance.
- Follow lost and found procedures meticulously.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform duties requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), pushing, and standing for prolonged periods.
