Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to join the vibrant team at one of our premier hospitality partners in Ogba, Lagos. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Handle all cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently, following proper usage instructions and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and stock linen carts with necessary supplies; maintain an organized and tidy work area.
- Inspect rooms and public areas for any maintenance needs (e.g., broken fixtures, malfunctioning equipment) and report them promptly to the supervisor.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with laundry operations as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and pull.
- Strong time management skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
