Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily cleaning and tidying of assigned guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces according to hotel brand standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean all surfaces including mirrors and windows.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and replenishing amenities (toiletries, towels).
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as coffee, tea, water bottles, and stationery.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, used safely, and stored securely after each shift.
- Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with guests, colleagues, and management at all times.
- Assist with inventory control of cleaning supplies and guest room amenities, reporting needs to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
