Your primary responsibilities will involve ensuring that all guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and inviting. This includes a thorough daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms, encompassing making beds to perfection, dusting all surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens (where applicable), and replenishing linens and guest amenities according to our exacting standards. Beyond individual rooms, you will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel corridors, lobbies, lounges, and other public spaces, ensuring they consistently reflect our commitment to excellence. You will be expected to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations. Proactive identification and reporting of maintenance issues or damaged items will also be a critical part of your role, ensuring that guest comfort and operational efficiency are never compromised. Effective time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Replenish guest room amenities and linens according to hotel standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, lounges, and staff areas.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items promptly to supervisors.
  • Manage laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels as required.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to security and guest privacy.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and national hygiene and sanitation regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to clean and maintain rooms to a high standard.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

  • Previous experience (at least 6 months) as a Housekeeping Attendant in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning products and equipment.
