Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Inspect rooms for any damages or maintenance issues and report them promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and common restrooms.
- Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Assist with laundry operations as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linen.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest service.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance cleaning techniques and service standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
