Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas daily according to established standards and procedures.
  • Replenish guest room supplies, amenities, and linen promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, are consistently clean and presentable.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items immediately to the supervisor or relevant department.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
  • Properly sort, store, and manage laundry and cleaning supplies, ensuring inventory is well-maintained.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and other hotel departments to foster a cohesive environment.
  • Monitor and control supplies and amenities, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special tasks as assigned by the housekeeping management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize duties effectively.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and pull as required by the role.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage for safe and effective cleaning.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping or similar role.
