Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
- Inspect rooms and public areas for maintenance needs and report any damages or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure all linen and towels are changed and fresh supplies are readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests, such as extra towels or additional services.
- Report lost and found items to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to security and guest privacy.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Attendant or similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform duties that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
