Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning duties across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces.
  • Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Emptying waste bins and transporting waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Replenishing restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, showers, and other bathroom fixtures.
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
  • Ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and properly.
  • Providing support for special cleaning projects or events as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting (6+ months).
  • Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per hotel operational needs.
