Key Responsibilities
- Sort and pre-treat laundry items according to fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Wash, dry, fold, iron, and press all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry as required.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear, ensuring high-quality output.
- Report any damaged linen or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and report needs for replenishment.
- Fold and stack linens neatly for storage or delivery to appropriate departments.
- Adhere to established timelines for laundry processing to support hotel operations.
