Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items according to fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor water and chemical levels, ensuring proper usage for optimal cleaning results.
- Pre-treat and remove stains from linens and garments using appropriate techniques.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry items, including towels, sheets, tablecloths, and uniforms.
- Inspect all items for damage or wear, reporting any issues to supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Deliver clean laundry to various departments (housekeeping, F&B) as needed.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and discretion, ensuring timely return.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management of laundry supplies.
