Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all laundry processes, from collection to sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution, are executed efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This involves operating commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively, identifying and treating stains, and carefully handling delicate items. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will be responsible for inspecting items for damage or wear, ensuring that only immaculate linen reaches our guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect soiled linens, towels, and uniforms from various hotel departments.
- Sort laundry items according to type, color, and required washing procedures.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor wash cycles and temperatures to ensure optimal cleanliness and sanitation.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear, treating or reporting as necessary.
- Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry neatly for storage and distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, equipment, and storage shelves.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
