Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items (linens, towels, guest clothing) according to fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Operate and maintain industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper water levels, temperatures, and detergent dosages.
- Fold, iron, and press all hotel linens and guest garments to high standards of presentation.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and wear, removing any substandard items from circulation.
- Report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment promptly to management.
- Manage laundry inventory, ensuring sufficient supplies are available and reporting shortages.
- Adhere strictly to hotel hygiene standards, safety regulations, and chemical handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the laundry area.
- Assist with other hotel-related duties as required by management.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
