Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and presses, safely and efficiently.
- Sort and treat laundry items according to fabric type, color, and required cleaning methods.
- Inspect all linen, towels, and uniforms for stains, damage, or wear, reporting issues as necessary.
- Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry items, ensuring they meet hotel standards for presentation and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor laundry supply levels and communicate needs to management to ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with inventory management of linen and uniforms.
- Handle guest laundry requests with discretion and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating industrial laundry equipment.
- Strong understanding of different fabric types and appropriate washing/drying techniques.
- Ability to identify and treat various stains effectively.
- High level of physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy laundry bags.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
