Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa is seeking a charismatic and dedicated Hotel Lounge Host to join our esteemed Front Office team. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests to the hotel lounge, ensuring a seamless and personalized arrival and departure experience.
- Act as a primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, providing information about resort amenities, and offering local recommendations.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and preferences, offering personalized assistance and services.
- Manage guest reservations for dining, spa treatments, excursions, and other resort activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the lounge area, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
- Handle guest feedback, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, escalating issues as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (e.g., F&B, Concierge, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless guest service.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling payments and ensuring accurate billing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions.
- Assist with special events or VIP guest requirements within the lounge area.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
