This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation and pristine condition of our partner hotel located in the picturesque Epsom Downs. As a Hotel Maintenance Helper, you will be the backbone of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal, functionality, and safety of the entire property. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and preventative checks on hotel equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues such as minor plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and carpentry repairs.
- Assist skilled technicians with more complex repairs and installation projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to identify and resolve maintenance needs.
- Paint, plaster, and perform general carpentry work as required to maintain the hotel's appearance.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, stored, and used safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
- Support health and safety compliance across the property.
- Assist with grounds keeping tasks and exterior maintenance as needed.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
