Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hotel infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general building fabrics.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently and courteously.
- Conduct regular inspections of all hotel areas, identifying and addressing potential maintenance concerns before they escalate.
- Execute minor carpentry, painting, and plastering tasks to maintain the aesthetic standards of the property.
- Maintain and repair kitchen equipment, laundry machinery, and other operational assets as required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
- Assist in emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC operations.
- Proficiency in general carpentry, painting, and plastering.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
