Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from staff and guests, diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address potential maintenance concerns before they escalate.
- Execute general handyman duties, including painting, carpentry, plastering, and minor repairs to furniture and fixtures.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, parts used, and equipment serviced.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and hotel policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruption to guests during maintenance activities.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, initiating requisitions as needed.
- Be available for on-call duties or emergency repairs outside regular hours as per operational requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the hotel’s maintenance operations and energy efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or similar commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
