Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets, maximize profitability, and optimize revenue streams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing and motivated team across all departments.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness throughout the property.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and local community stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Proactively handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally to ensure positive outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
  • Demonstrable leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Strong financial acumen and extensive experience with budgeting, P&L management, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Exceptional guest service orientation and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence and consistently achieve business objectives.
  • Understanding of UK hospitality market trends and regulatory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in an additional language (beyond English) is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with luxury hotel brands or properties.
  • Advanced certifications in hospitality operations, leadership, or business management.
