As a Hotel Pool Attendant, you will be the cornerstone of our guests’ aquatic enjoyment, responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting pool area. You’ll interact directly with guests, offering a friendly face and ready assistance, making sure their time by the pool is nothing short of relaxing and memorable. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the pool area to ensure the safety of all guests, enforcing pool rules and regulations.
  • Perform routine checks of pool water chemistry, ensuring proper chemical balance and clarity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, lounge chairs, and surrounding areas, including regular cleaning and sanitization.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with towels, seating, and responding to inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Conduct daily opening and closing procedures for the pool area, including setting up and storing equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to management immediately.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of poolside events or activities as required.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition and easily accessible.
  • Administer basic first aid if necessary and be prepared for emergency response.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to enhance overall guest experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a pool attendant or in a similar hospitality role
  • First Aid and CPR certification (current or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Knowledge of pool chemical handling and water testing procedures
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English
