Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join a prestigious hotel client in the heart of Antrim, Belfast, facilitated by Career.zycto. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Manage reservations, allocate rooms, and handle cancellations or modifications accurately.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and balance daily accounts with precision.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their stay.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when necessary, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, reflecting the hotel's high standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, concierge, F&B) to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including report generation and correspondence.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using reservation software and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
- Professional demeanour and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist.
- Knowledge of the local Antrim/Belfast area and popular tourist attractions.
