Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly to the restaurant, seating them appropriately.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system or manual order pad.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently to guests.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Clear tables, reset them, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness.
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
