Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
  • Restock room supplies, mini-bars, and amenity items as per hotel standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
  • Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and belongings.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within the given timeframe.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, push, and lift for extended periods.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a room attendant or in a similar housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to speak English fluently; knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
